GTT earns EcoVadis medal for sustainability

EcoVadis is a trusted independent sustainability assessment and benchmarking platform that evaluates sustainability impacts and business conduct. The evaluation covers a wide range of non-financial management systems that include environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Every year, GTT completes this evidence-based assessment by responding to a comprehensive questionnaire on environmental, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement initiatives. EcoVadis’ thorough analysis provides valuable insights into an organization’s commitment to sustainability, giving businesses a benchmark for continuous improvement.

By participating in the assessment, we receive a sustainability scorecard from EcoVadis, including detailed insights into our strengths and areas for improvement.

GTT’s latest EcoVadis sustainability assessment has been published, earning the company a Bronze medal and placing us within the top 35% of companies assessed worldwide. The company’s score increased from 68 to 70 points compared to the previous 12-month assessment period. Notable progress included enhancements in GTT’s data quality and collection — covering fuel types, distance traveled, and electricity consumption — which enabled more comprehensive greenhouse gas reporting to support current alignment with the Corporate Value Chain Standard and possible future alignment with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
