Objectif & Portée
At GTT, we exist to create better networks, better experiences and better tomorrows. We are committed to conducting our business in an environmentally responsible manner. We recognize the impact our operations can have on the environment and are dedicated to minimizing this impact through sustainable practices and continuous improvement.
The objective of the Environmental Policy is to set our commitment to managing those aspects of our business that can affect the environment as well as defining measures to review our performance. The scope applies to GTT operations globally and includes all employees, sub-contractors and suppliers.

Respect and obey applicable environmental laws, rules, and regulations in the countries where we operate and encourage our business partners to satisfy environmental compliance requirements. This includes adhering to international guidelines and best practices for environmental management.
Maintain standardized data collection methods and key performance indicators to monitor our environmental impact.
Take action to reduce the carbon footprint of our business operations to achieve global climate goals. We will monitor and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, aiming to achieve net zero for Scope 1 and Scope 2 by 2035. We are working towards establishing science-based targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This ensures our targets are aligned with the latest climate science and the goals of the Paris Agreement.
Improve the efficient use of water and other resources to preserve biodiversity.
Manage our business operations to prevent pollution, including harmful airborne particulates.
Implement waste minimization programs to reduce, reuse and recycle our office materials.
Engage with our suppliers to collectively reduce our environmental footprint.

Rôles & Responsabilités
La politique environnementale est sous la responsabilité du responsable du programme ESG, qui relève du service juridique. Les communications relatives aux changements, aux révisions et aux modifications seront coordonnées par le responsable du programme ESG et approuvées par le chef du service juridique et le comité directeur ESG.
Application
Tout employé ayant enfreint ce processus peut faire l’objet de mesures disciplinaires pouvant aller jusqu’au licenciement. GTT enquêtera sur les incidents impliquant de telles violations et pourra faire intervenir les forces de l’ordre avec lesquelles elle coopèrera si une violation pénale est suspectée.
