GTT Awarded ChannelVision Magazine 2023 Visionary Spotlight Awards for Its Managed Services Technologies in Four Categories

GTT Communications, Inc., a leading global provider of managed network and security services to multinational organizations, announced that the company’s service offerings won ChannelVision Magazine’s Visionary Spotlight Awards for Best Technology in four categories: software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN), cybersecurity, managed services and multilocation deployment. The Visionary Spotlight Awards recognize outstanding products, services and deployments based on evaluation criteria including overall innovation, future industry impact, creativity and feature set differentiation, and ease of use and interoperability.

GTT won Visionary Spotlight Awards in the following categories:

SD-WAN
GTT SD-WAN gives customers a flexible and reliable way to ensure their networks can easily adjust to support the applications underlying their digital transformation initiatives, whether they relate to cloud adoption, hybrid work or other critical efforts. Delivered as a fully or co-managed service, GTT SD-WAN improves network performance while reducing the total cost of ownership. GTT provides management and monitoring tools customers need for agile changes to support network and application performance.

Cybersecurity
GTT was recognized for its in-depth approach to cybersecurity and its secure networking portfolio that includes GTT Secure Connect, based on the SASE framework, which extends and strengthens the protection of enterprise networks connecting to the internet and accessed by users from any location. Secure Connect integrates SD-WAN with a comprehensive set of security features into a single cloud-delivered platform that protects all application traffic, providing seamless connectivity to GTT’s global Tier 1 network for the best possible application performance and user experience for customers.

Managed services
GTT Managed Services give customers the capability to keep pace with emerging technologies while removing complexity from their enterprise networks and allowing them to focus on what they do best — running their businesses. GTT Managed Networking Services include CPE supply, proactive monitoring and end-to-end management. GTT also offers solutions for Managed Detection and Response, Managed Firewall and DDoS Protection to help protect, prevent, detect and respond to cyberattacks.

Multilocation deployment
GTT was also recognized for the strength of its top-ranked Tier 1 backbone network, spanning six continents and connecting more than 600 global points-of-presence (PoPs). GTT delivers services through these PoPs or at any other location via an extended cloud ecosystem as well as a global network of 400 preferred access partners. Last year, GTT kicked off a 400G upgrade to its global Tier 1 IP network to address its customers’ continued double-digit increase in IP traffic, resulting in improved scalability and higher-capacity options for GTT’s suite of enhanced internet and WAN services. GTT also recently announced the expansion of its network of scrubbing centers spanning four continents globally.

The Visionary Spotlight Awards are the latest in a series of industry accolades received by GTT. In April 2023, GTT Secure Connect won the TMC 2023 INTERNET TELEPHONY SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) Product of the Year Award. GTT was also recognized with three Visionary Spotlight Awards in 2022, awarded in the categories of Best International Internet Solution, SD-WAN & SD-Branch and Managed Services.
