Zielsetzung & Umfang
At GTT, we exist to create better networks, better experiences and better tomorrows. We are committed to conducting our business in an environmentally responsible manner. We recognize the impact our operations can have on the environment and are dedicated to minimizing this impact through sustainable practices and continuous improvement.
The objective of the Environmental Policy is to set our commitment to managing those aspects of our business that can affect the environment as well as defining measures to review our performance. The scope applies to GTT operations globally and includes all employees, sub-contractors and suppliers.

Respect and obey applicable environmental laws, rules, and regulations in the countries where we operate and encourage our business partners to satisfy environmental compliance requirements. This includes adhering to international guidelines and best practices for environmental management.
Maintain standardized data collection methods and key performance indicators to monitor our environmental impact.
Take action to reduce the carbon footprint of our business operations to achieve global climate goals. We will monitor and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, aiming to achieve net zero for Scope 1 and Scope 2 by 2035. We are working towards establishing science-based targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This ensures our targets are aligned with the latest climate science and the goals of the Paris Agreement.
Improve the efficient use of water and other resources to preserve biodiversity.
Manage our business operations to prevent pollution, including harmful airborne particulates.
Implement waste minimization programs to reduce, reuse and recycle our office materials.
Engage with our suppliers to collectively reduce our environmental footprint.

Rollen & Verantwortlichkeiten
Für die Umweltpolitik ist die Leitung des ESG-Programms verantwortlich, die der Rechtsabteilung unterstellt ist. Die Kommunikation von Änderungen, Überarbeitungen und Modifikationen wird von der ESG-Programmleitung koordiniert und vom General Counsel und dem ESG-Lenkungsausschuss genehmigt.
Durchsetzung
Gegen jeden Mitarbeiter, der gegen dieses Verfahren verstoßen hat, können Disziplinarmaßnahmen bis hin zur Kündigung des Arbeitsverhältnisses eingeleitet werden. GTT wird Vorfälle, die solche Verstöße beinhalten, untersuchen und gegebenenfalls die Strafverfolgungsbehörden einschalten und mit ihnen zusammenarbeiten, wenn der Verdacht auf einen kriminellen Verstoß besteht.
Verstöße gegen diese oder andere Unternehmensrichtlinien müssen der Personal- oder Rechtsabteilung oder der GTT-Hotline unter www.safecall.co.uk/report gemeldet werden.
