ENGTT’s annual ESG report details progress on sustainability, governance and expanded alignment with leading reporting frameworks.
GTT Communications Inc., a leading networking and security as a service provider for multinational organizations, has published its environmental, social and governance report for the full year, 2024. The report highlights GTT’s continued progress in advancing sustainability and social initiatives while reinforcing governance across its global operations.

Notable developments in 2024 detailed in the report include:
- EcoVadis Silver Medal: This recognition from a leading provider of sustainability ratings, places GTT in the top 15% of companies assessed globally for 2024. It reflects GTT’s performance across key ESG areas, including environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
- CDP participation: GTT attained and made public its first score within CDP’s framework. This recognizes GTT’s work to identify key climate-related risks and opportunities, as well as its ongoing activity to improve its data quality, governance and strategic response to environmental challenges.
- Double-Materiality Assessment (DMA) completion: GTT completed its first DMA based on insights from its stakeholders. The assessment identified GTT’s key areas of focus and supports the company’s alignment with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards mandated under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
- More comprehensive greenhouse gas reporting: Enhancements in GTT’s data quality and collection — covering fuel types, distance traveled, and electricity consumption — enabled more comprehensive reporting across Scope 1 and Scope 2 for the company’s GHG emissions inventory, in alignment with the GHG Protocol’s Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard. GTT also screened all Scope 3 categories deemed most material to its business and expanded its inventory coverage to support current alignment with the Corporate Value Chain Standard and possible future alignment with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
